Anyway.īeen looking for an alternative to Windows for a while and Manjaro started popping up quite a bit. Obviously the server space is a bit different. I am quite comfortable with Linux, administering 300 or so as my day job. I have found damn near every Linux distro clunky, even Ubuntu.
Kudos to the Manjaro team for something so awesome! My only wish is that battery life would be better on linux. Now Im using Xfce, and its so fast, and never does the crap that Windows did in 20 days. I love GNOME more than KDE (just my view) because it was so simple and out of the way. I use xfce now, but in the past I used GNOME and KDE. Had to completely reset Windows 10, affecting time on work.

It provides all the benefits of a rolling release distro and includes a user-friendly installer, tested updates that try very hard to not break your system and a community of friendly users for support. Manjaro is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Arch Linux.
